Tips on Hiring Your Floral Designer

Brides, it's important to think long term when it comes to your wedding flowers. Yes, your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and you want it to be absolutely beautiful - but remember, your wedding pictures with your flowers will be on your mantel or wall for years to come. These are the pictures your children and grandchildren will cherish.

When consulting, we always ask brides to give me a few adjectives that describe what tone or mood they want for their wedding. Some examples may be: elegant, romantic, natural or bohemian. Do you like garden-style or modern? These are all the things to think about when planning your wedding flowers and to talk to your designer about.

When choosing a floral designer you want to make sure they understand you and your style. Do you click with them? Are they listening or talking over you? When a bride comes into Wildflowers we want them to get the right designer for their wedding and that may not mean we are the right fit. The wedding industry is a great group of people and love to connect people to the right vendors.
